One of the mysteries of the AIDS virus

resolved through an online game

Proponents of video game scientific Foldit managed to decode three weeks the structure of an enzyme similar to that of the AIDS virus, which was defeated eminent scientists and their computers for ten years. This game developed by the University of Washington pitted two teams of thousands of users who have tried countless combinations to solve the riddle. Foldit players have won the right to be listed as "sponsors" of the study published in the journal Nature Structural & Molecular Biology.

Emmanuel Carré, Docteur en sciences de l’information et de la communication, est nommé au poste de Directeur des programmes.

L’arrivée d’Emmanuel Carré correspond à la volonté de la direction de l’EBS de renforcer l’innovation en matière de pédagogie et de conduire les procédures qualité de ses enseignements.

Emmanuel Carré, 41 ans, diplômé de l’ESC Bordeaux en 1990, est titulaire d’un double DEA en sciences de l’information et communication et en sciences de gestion, ainsi que d’un doctorat en communication.

Emmanuel Carré a débuté son parcours professionnel en tant que professeur de management à BEM (Bordeaux Management School) et comme intervenant au sein de plusieurs institutions d’enseignement supérieur, telles que les Universités de Bordeaux et de Clermont-Ferrand, l’Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature, et dans plusieurs écoles d’ingénieurs. Très impliqué dans l’innovation pédagogique et dans les sciences de l’éducation, Emmanuel Carré occupe, de 2005 à 2009, le poste de directeur du programme EBP International au sein de BEM (Bordeaux Management School). En 2009, il rejoint le Groupe IGS en tant que directeur du développement pédagogique.

Emmanuel Carré est également l'auteur de nombreux ouvrages et articles sur le management et l’orientation professionnelle.

A prototype Iphone 5 lost in a bar in San Francisco

Same pattern as for Apple: a prototype of the future five Iphone was forgotten in a tequila bar in San Francisco last July, according to the website dedicated C Net. Guided by GPS device, police officers and employees of Apple went to a house in San Francisco, in vain. Its occupant told the Weekly SF Weekly that he had spent some time in the bar where the Iphone 5 would have been lost, but he had no phone. In 2010 already, a prototype of the iPhone 4 was lost by an engineer in a bar and found by a man who had sold the Web site Gizmodo. He had cut up the new device and had published photos and content worldwide.
