The U.S. internet group Yahoo announced Tuesday, Sept. 6 that its board had thanked the CEO Carol Bartz, in office less than three years, replaced temporarily by Tim Morse, current chief financial officer. "The board began looking for a permanent CEO and intends to use the services of a headhunting firm recognized nationally for identifying candidates for the position as quickly as possible," said the group. Tim Morse, 42, chief financial officer since July 2009, takes office immediately.
