Proponents of video game scientific Foldit managed to decode three weeks the structure of an enzyme similar to that of the AIDS virus, which was defeated eminent scientists and their computers for ten years. This game developed by the University of Washington pitted two teams of thousands of users who have tried countless combinations to solve the riddle. Foldit players have won the right to be listed as "sponsors" of the study published in the journal Nature Structural & Molecular Biology.
